Dit zeggen onze partners
Green Food Foundation werkt samen met lokale partners wereldwijd. Dit is wat zij zeggen over onze samenwerking.
Sapana Village Social Impact – Nepal
It was a great pleasure working with Green Food Foundation. On behalf of our team, I would like to sincerely appreciate the support and collaboration from Green Food Foundation throughout the process. We also would like to thank Pricilla and Pouline for their visit and follow-up coordination.
The field visit was very participatory with the SVSI team, local authority, and primary stakeholders.
The recommendations for the lunch menu provided for the school lunch program were clear and grounded in practical field realities. The follow-up communication was timely and supportive.
Overall, our experience with the Green Food Foundation has been very positive and constructive.
Regarding the letter of recommendation, we would be happy to support this initiative. You may also share or publish it on your website, with our consent.
Thank you once again for the collaboration. We look forward to staying connected and exploring
With kind regards,

Macheo – Kenya
We were all very impressed by Carlijn and Anna. Their attitude, knowledge, and motivation to understand and contribute were truly wonderful to work with. So GFF’s contribution to Macheo has certainly met our expectations. Many thanks for this.
The staff had to get used to taking initiative and organizing things themselves. In my opinion, they did this very well — especially Jennifer, Leonard (the 2 nutritionists) and Hassan (their supervisor).
It has certainly given a lot of food for thought; the dust hasn’t fully settled yet, so in the coming weeks the team will need to decide what to implement first and how to adapt based on the lessons learned.
But the fact that it happened says enough for now, I think.

Link to Progress (LTP) – Uganda
As Link to Progress, an independent organisation based in Uganda. We are writing on behalf of the Green Food Foundation; they have been advising Link to Progress on nutrition for children in schools and communities since the year 2021. Specifically, they guided Link to Progress in the following.
– Nutrition information that was introduced to schools and communities where Link to Progress is working.
– Introduction of kitchen gardens in schools and communities where Link to Progress works.
– How to incorporate nutritional foods in day-to-day menu, that is meal plans and sustainability of nutrition initiatives in schools through formation of food committees in the schools.
Based on our professional relationship with the Green Food Foundation, I feel confident I can provide you with insight into their substantial suitability for funding.
In the past years, we have had the pleasure working with them, and we have seen their extraordinary growth in knowledge and accomplishments. They have continuously followed up how Link to Progress is going about with all aspects listed above, even from abroad through online meetings and emails.
I am delighted to recommend the Green Food Foundation for any funding opportunity. I would be happy to provide more information about them if needed.
Yours sincerely,

Victoria Friendly Montessori – Kenya
I am writing to highly recommend the Green Food Foundation for its exceptional work in improving nutrition and promoting sustainable food practices. Our organization recently (2022-2023) had the pleasure of collaborating with them on a project aimed at enhancing nutritional outcomes in Rusinga community in Western Kenya, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding.
Throughout the project, the Green Food Foundation demonstrated unparalleled expertise and dedication. Their team of professionals brought a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to the cause, ensuring that every aspect of the project was executed with precision and care. Their approach to using locally available products to improve nutritional situations was particularly impressive, as it not only addressed immediate needs but also promoted long-term sustainability.
One of the standout aspects of working with the Green Food Foundation was their ability to engage and empower the local community. They implemented a train-the-trainer concept, which not only provided immediate nutritional benefits but also equipped community members with the skills and knowledge to continue these practices independently. This approach has had a lasting impact, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility within the community.
The results of our collaboration speak volumes about the Green Food Foundation’s effectiveness. We observed significant improvements in nutritional awareness and practices among the target population, leading to better health outcomes, especially for children. Their work has undoubtedly contributed to breaking the cycle of malnutrition and poverty in Rusinga Island.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse the Green Food Foundation for any future projects or partnerships. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to sustainable nutrition make them an invaluable partner. I am confident that they will continue to make a positive impact wherever they work.
Sincerely,
Odhiambo Tom Mboya
